Fried chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy and cole slaw with biscuits, sweet tea to drink!

some kind of "Chinese" dumplings with some kinda "Chinese" sauce. Don't need to know what is in there...it tastes very good and I expect to live.

I had Burger King Buffalo Chicken Fries with a sweet tea to drink.

I had a bowl of chili and two pieces of dry whole wheat toast. It really hit the spot. :)

I had poached salmon, slices of tomatoes, sliced cukes, thin slices of sweet onions. Seasoned with herbs, s&p to taste then I made a lite lemon dressing to dribble over the veggies and fish.

Roasted chicken, brown rice and steamed broccoli.

I had fish sticks with crunchy veggie salad and the last of the kale super food salad. Dum Dums for dessert.

t'was last evening......
I had my first ever...pork cheeks with an orange jus glaze, asparagus puree, fresh asparagus spears, sautéed in brown butter chanterelles and micro greens on top. I had a side salad of chopped mixed microgreens with diced romas, alfalfa sprouts, and bell pepper slices with lite Ranch dressing!
It was multiple "mouthgasms". I WILL have pork cheeks AGAIN!!:hangloose: |
Beef tips are on the menu for tonight, not sure if I'm having noodles or rice with it.

Conger eel and spinach stew with rice and steamed vegetables.

I am going to make a tortilla wrap with roasted chicken, cucumber, avocado and tabbouleh.

Braised pork neck with rice and corn bread.

I haven't felt like cooking for a couple days....
I've been more or less browsing...aka snacking...aka eating crap.... sigh Tonight it was pickles and Cheezits...and OMG good Coney Island hard root beer to wash it down.... Last night was pickles and cheezits plus ice cream... I'm in a bit of a rut.... |

Red curry with shrimp and rice. I got to use my fresh Thai basil from my herb garden :) It's definitely a do-over, yum! |
I had two meat(less) balls and I mixed up some leftover corn, mashed potatoes, green chilies and bbq sauce. It was interesting. Not the best thing in the world but not the worst.

Chili made with Italian sausage and some fresh bread, maybe salad, too.

Tonight it's thick cut pork chops baked with onions, green peppers and diced tomatoes. I'm making salad and mashed potatoes on the side.

Waiting for my early dinner to be delivered. Veggie lo mein, an avocado roll, and a sweet potato roll.
