I was going to make nachos with chili. Did not. Then I thought I might do a steak. Did not.

I am now sitting here eating a slim jim. :|

Revision: I just heated up some leftover potato/onion perogies and a piece of hot italian sausage with peppers and onions. Orange Crush to drink.

I had homemade chicken noodle soup and a big glass of ice tea.

I had a couple of small grilled pork chops dusted with garlic and basted with mesquite bbq sauce accompanied with corn, green beans and broccoli.

I have a pot of beef heart stew loaded with veggies on a slow simmer for tonight's dinner.

Kale and Italian sweet sausage soup. I've been wanting soup. A substantial soup, but not chicken soup.

Gemme's recent dinner posts gave me this idea (thanks, Gemme) and it's exactly what I needed.

Had it last night, having it tonight, and will have it again tomorrrow.

Given I have everything to make the chili nachos and did not make them last night --that will likely be tonight's fare --unless I get lazy and do the steak. Have I mentioned about food being a chore? :|

I made beef carnitas last night, so I'm having that with corn tortillas, avocado, diced onion, and sour cream.

Too hot to actually cook...

Cold salmon with a tzatziki-esque sauce I whipped up
Cold roasted asparagus with lemon
For dessert I have berries with crème fraîche and dark chocolate curls
To drink I have one of the few Chardonnays I like, Toasted Head

Beef and noodles, mashed potatoes ,corn

Pizza and goodies

Sweet and sour pork
Veggie fried rice

We had baked. Chicken breast, roasted asparagus with garlic and cherry tomatoes, spoonful of mashed potatoes.

I made a nice light pasta salad...which I'll most likely have with some spinach or something

Veggie burger and fries.
