We went out for Indian tonight. We had samosa chaat, papadum, lassis, and vegetable korma. It was so good.

Gemme 10-30-2019 08:40 PM

I had spicy veggie chili mac by Lean Cuisine, fresh fruit, cheesecake, oj/pom juice, water and root beer barrels. It's been a tough day.

Lower sodium chicken and wild rice soup with a lower sodium cheese, grilled cheese to be exact, sammich.

My favorite thing at Ruby Tuesday's was their white bean chicken chili. It. Was. So. Delicious.

It's rainy and windy outside so I think I'm going to simmer a pot of spaghetti sauce (gravy to the purists) and have it with my veggie pasta. I have no appropriate bread, though. I was going to pick up a couple things anyway so this dish is absolutely feasible! Stay tuned....

Orema 11-01-2019 03:54 PM

El Pollo Loco grilled chicken salad. So good and exactly what I need.

Noodles with shrimp, scallops, red sweet peppers, broccoli pieces, cooked and covered with alfredo sauce. Iced tea.

Gemme 11-01-2019 07:58 PM

Hawaiian style chicken and rice, corn with Poblano and red peppers, water and cheesecake.

nycfem 11-01-2019 10:24 PM

Ordered in vegetarian pad thai. And they had Hummingbird Cake as a dessert option so I ordered that too (after googling what it is). Yummy!

Gemme 11-02-2019 05:29 PM

I had chicken noodle soup, fresh fruit, water and cheesecake.

Hummingbird cake!!! Delish!!!

RockOn 11-02-2019 08:57 PM

boiled okra
steamed cabbage & carrots
soy milk to drink

note: steamed the cabbage and carrots separately (it is fine for them to touch on my plate)

GeorgiaMa'am 11-02-2019 09:17 PM

Ordered in Chinese:
- egg drop soup
- Mongolian beef
- chicken lo mein

and it was the second most satisfying meal I have had all week. Disney restaurants kind of disappointed me this time - except for Raglan Road at Disney Springs, and with the most charming company!

Dinner

Mom's homemade beef stew with the best gravy in Texas. I also made Acorn squash. I cut it in half add butter, brown sugar and cinnamon. Yummy.

kittygrrl 11-03-2019 01:10 PM

i wanted to make Shepherd's Pie..but there is so much roast chicken left from last night that i'll have to think of something else..maybe Alfredo?!? not sure about dessert..the peach pie has left the building :praying: so what?...something light..maybe a chocolate mousse...i love dessert on the weekend..especially in winter..

I don't know but the spaghetti idea never came to fruition and I'm hungry now so maybe I'll have an early and a late dinner.

Chancie 11-03-2019 05:32 PM

I finally made West African Inspired Chick Pea Stew.

Pete asked for it specifically, and it’s perfect for cold and rainy weather. We haven’t eaten yet, but it smells delicious.

nycfem 11-03-2019 06:19 PM

BB and I ordered in Chinese. I had hot and sour soup, vegetarian general tsao's "chicken" (tofu), and a veggie spring roll. It was delicious.
