Tonight i'm fixing shrimp/crawfish jambalaya, sweet corn bread, ice cold diet soda...maybe a salad.

On the grill: Steak, chicken, burgers (turkey & beef & veggie) and roasted veggie kebabs. Potato salad 3 kinds. Cole slaw 2 kinds. Baked beans. Huge mixed herb salad. 3 kinds of homemade ice cream. A banana pudding. Strawberry shortcake. Fresh fruit mix (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, grapes, kiwis and peaches) No not all mixed together. Gallons and gallons and gallons of iced tea, koolade, lemonade, soda, seltzer and bottled water. We LOVE the 4th and Mama's birthday is in 2 weeks so we are celebrating it early, too. Let her think it IS her birthday and all the fireworks are for her! :D |
Dinner at Paphigleos. Handburgers, tator tots, and watermelon. And my girlfriend is making me gluten free cupcakes. And its not even my birthday.

last night while waiting for fireworks we had sandwiches at a local deli restaurant. half a reuben and broccoli cheese soup, some garlic toast and a swirl ice cream cone.
tonight I made shrimp scampi and brown rice. dessert was strawberry and vanilla ice cream with almonds, chocolate syrup and bananas. |

I want watermelon.. Gemme wants it cold.. yep I got it in da fridge :winky:
When I was a kid we would just crack open huge watermelons in the pastures for lunch,so we didnt have to stop playing to go eat :cheesy: ahh the good ole days |

We tried a new place that just opened.. PDQ Tenders, Sandwiches, and Salads... it was Fantastic!! We all three had the tenders and fries.. YUMMMMMMM

Just finished eating a can of Lucks brand pinto beans at 11:30 p.m... Straight from can with a plastic spoon. The dogs and I are munching shortbread cookies now.
A friend called around 7:00 and needed me to help her. I packed up my chainsaw, left all the limbs on the ground I had taken down and jumped into the truck. This woman has had 2 unsuccessful neck surgies and a back surgery too. She is going back into yhe hospital tonight. I brought her dog home with me and will drop off at her vet in the morning. |
I'm exhausted from the weekend and don't really feel like cooking, so I'm going pretty easy tonight...
I'm browning some ground turkey, adding a jar of Prego spaghetti sauce with mushrooms and tossing with some twirlie noodles. I may or may not open a bag of salad :) |
