My youngest told me she wants to start college but doesn't know where to begin.

I've been doing the school thing for a while now so I told her we can go first thing Monday and start the process. She is SO excited.

I had a college catalog and she poured over it for hours last night. So glad to see one of my babies going on to college :) Now she just needs to decide on a major. She's leaning towards environmental studies which makes me even happier....

So many awesome vacations/trips coming up this summer. Hydra Comic Con this month, 4th of July weekend with my sister/nephew, and a few other trips that we have planned this summer. Going to be AMAZING!

I took a long weekend, and get to hang out with a cousin, which means hanging out and crazy stories!

Tonight my executive director is participating in a "Battle of the Bartenders" fundraiser so that will be a fun after work field trip for us all!
Tomorrow night - a good night in for board games at my house.
Saturday a renaissance fest.
Sunday my local Pridefest! This year going with my friends and taking my daughter and her friends. Whoop!

Just getting through today, another work day.

It has been a difficult week and every day, the alarm has awakened me.

I used to wake up automatically.

I think those days are over.

This weekend I'm going to the country to spend some time outdoors in the sunshine...fishing with my dad and hiking in the woods. I'm way overdue for some quality time with Mother Nature. :)

I found out a restaurant I've always wanted to go to was closing next week. So,tomorrow we are daytripping to Maggie Valley to go to Joey's Pancake House for the first and last time. ..
