It's not connected. It's a chatroom Mr. and Mrs. Mel created for everyone to stay in touch.

Yes, the intention is to keep us connected until BFP has it's own chatroom. It's free, you just have to set up a profile. Most people use the same screen name that they have on the Planet. Let us know if you have any additional questions.
