We woke up late so it was brunch again for us. Today's menu had:
homemade tacos with all the fixins except black olives and green chilies (we're out) grapes for him and a Granny Smith apple for me unsweetened tea for him and orange flavored water for me |
Had "brunch" today
Went to IHOP after the 5k...I had 2 pancakes, 2 eggs (egg substitute), and turkey bacon. It was delish!!

All I had was a turkey burger and some chips brushetta ones!!

i had a wonderful salad for lunch...mache lettuce, fresh basil, grilled papaya, toasted pine nuts, and a touch of stilton cheese. lightly tossed in a lemon grass vinegarette. i am spoiled that i work in a well stocked kitchen. i get to eat well...if i have time.

I would really like some chocolate. In fact, I think my lunch will consist of a large iced mocha and cigarettes while I take a drive out in the country. :)

Lunch was cereal and a grilled cheese sandwich for me and 2 grilled cheese sandwiches for Organic.

I caught that Montel Williams Healthmaster infomercial this weekend and was intrigued by it. I definitely don't eat enough fruits because mostly I don't like them that much. So I've been experimenting with making fruit and vegetable smoothies in my blender. Today I put in half an orange, half an apple, a handful of spinach, a handful of blueberries and a few cauliflower florets. Four ice cubes and four ounces of water and had to go for about two or three minutes to get it all liquefied in my Hamilton Beach blender.
It tastes about like you'd expect. But somehow, for me, drinking it is still easier than eating all that. I'm thinking of getting a Blendtec, then I wouldn't have to spend time cutting things up. Because the Blendtec can blend anything. Just look for it on YouTube and you'll see what I mean. |
I am going to my fav restaurant for lunch and having oyster mushroom soup! OMG...its to die for!

All I had was some tuna and some salad and protein bar as well. trying to diet and keep blood sugar levels low!!

I had vegan ribs (I hear the meat eaters rolling their eyes), organic Greek yogurt, steamed broccoli, and a honeycrisp apple. Mmmm.
