Chicken sausage gumbo and cottage cheese

Being it's the early and very stormy Sunday morning,I supose I will have Jambalaya for dinner it's easy to fix and stores well in the fridge if my son is late comeing home.

I had a egg salad on a long roll with lettuce, onion and a splash of vinegar....... that's how we do it in Jersey!!!! 2 butterscotch puddings for dessert.

Dinner was so much fun especially when the 4 year old insisted that we eat the same things at the same time and on the count of three... He also doesn't like broccoli but ate the "trees" for me. He would not however eat the stems. Lol.

Got a rare treat of Chinese Buffet.. had lots of sushi.. yum! Also had various types of shrimp, and crab and crawdads, a little of my fav kind of Chinese food and fruit..

Tonight was a mix and match of odd snack foods. I had various chippy dip things and some fruit. Tomorrow I am gonna have to walk like a million miles, but it was worth it :)

last night I fired up the grill and made an white wine herb chicken, roasted potatoes and broccoli...with little man as my assistant. rice crispy treats for dessert (made them with the kids...ok I had them do most of the work *winks*)
tonight it's the kids turn (we teach during the week...and once a week they show of what they have learned as they expand their culinary skills.) I believe they are attempting a taco skillet recipe...last night they made cupcakes for tonight dessert. They made them blue with candy fish on top...they said that way it looks like the fish are swimming in the ocean. *grins* |

Probably nothing... Tired, sore, no food in the apartment and I'm broke. Who's inviting me for dinner? LOL

Went straight from the airport to my favorite Texas BBQ joint. It's a little hole in the wall place, But dang, the ribs fall off the bone and the coleslaw is tangy and sweet at the same time.....Oy! |
Grilled cheese, sherbert...probably wine in a bit...and after a longggg (15hr) day, I'm SO ok with that!

Baked Panko breaded orange roughy, coated in dijon mustard, with steamed cauliflower, broccoli, and kale
AND chocolate chip cookies ,and a giant mug of ice cold milk after a long hot day :moonstars: |
Spinach pasta with spinach and feta sausage covered with garlic, and pepper sauce under grated Scamorza cheese. Garlic bread soaked in butter and Louis Jadot Pinot Noir wine. Coffee and lemon Italian ice for dessert.

Some General's chicken leftover from lunch, a glass of milk, an orange, a couple slices of turkey lunchmeat, and a handful of potato chips. |

Last night we went out for :sushi:
Dessert was sharing a bowl of cookies & cream ice cream :) Tonight, I'm not for sure. If we don't go out to dinner with D's dad, I guess I'll cook... chicken parmesan angel hair pasta & sauce |
