Vacation in 5 weeks! Going back to Tucson to see my family, who I haven't seen in about 4 yrs. I will be celebrating my B-day while I'm there as well.

Getting together for the "Micro-ReUnion" lunch with Diva on July 10th during her visit to California. We are going to meet in the East Bay Area and it looks like about 12 members will be there!!
I'm excited because I haven't seen Diva in over 3 years and also some of the other folks for at least that long- PLUS- I will be meeting a few for the first time! Being able to meet folks in person has made such a difference in my sense of community within our B-F/Queer/Multi-gendered culture. I am grateful that we are going to have this simple gathering as I can't get to the ReUnion and won't be able to for a few years most likely. Maybe a new friend or two will happen with some of the folks that live fairly close. We really are a good group of people and going beyond online interaction builds a whole different level of respect and recognizing we are so much more than a group of people posting here. |

This weekend. To be alone with my thoughts on a stretch of beach that is home to my soul. Knowing someday if I ever belong. Getting reacquainted someday with that place in my soul that is still. |
