A day trip in to San Antonio tomorrow. Well, really going to see my dentist. You know when you find "the " one, you won't mind the 150 miles, twice a year. Besides, I have friends to see, shopping to do, and places to find good food. It's mostly country driving..which is relaxing. And...I have some good music ready to hear.
But, I'd always like to be the passenger! |
Tomorrow is my one year anniversary with my partner :) We're going out of town for a nice weekend away and I can't wait.
Next Thursday I pick up my daughter from her first year away at college and I can't wait. Next weekend is an annual party on a mountaintop to celebrate life and raise money for the children of a dear friend of mine who passed four years ago. I can't wait to celebrate her life with our friends. |

Some serious relaxation this weekend. I have a volunteer event this weekend that I help with every year and I will likely go because I would feel bad vegging on the couch knowing all of those kids are out there looking forward to seeing all the volunteers.

Mother's Day lunch with mom. I am taking her out for prime rib. I have lots of gifts both fun and lasting.

My next planned trip to New Orleans. Baked brie just saying. My neighbors in New Orleans really know how to make food yummy. And the coffee, oh my goodness.

Getting my presentation knocked out this afternoon...hopefully without technical difficulties. It’s not my favorite thing to do!
Picking my first homegrown tomato of the year. It should be ready this weekend. Cuddling the hell out of my girlfriend tomorrow. :love1: |
One week from today I get to see her in person again.

Looking forward to this upcoming 3 day weekend. I am also going with 2 of my friends to the American Legion my late gramps belonged to. They are putting up plaques for those who served in WWI and WWII and have passed on.
I am going to honor my gramps for putting his life in jeopardy and making no bones about it. |
I am looking forward to setting up the fire pit, and roasting marshmellows with my girl under these amazing stars!

Lunch in someone's castle. A co-worker lives in a castle and has invited a bunch of us to a celebration lunch today. I visited her years ago and remember the castle being on the dark and drafty side, but cool nonetheless. I have no idea what's on the menu, but it should be fun and will be a nice break from the norm.
