Getting into my house and getting it set up the way I want to.
I found some awesome designer glass tile for the bathroom or kitchen and 2 big boxes of "faux" stone for the fireplace today.

A trip to Asheville for my graduation gift. An entire week to give my love the lay of the land and show him what we have to look forward to!

We'll be attending the Cherokee pow wow while we're there. I wanted to go for the three years I lived there and something ALWAYS came up...

We're also going to be seeing the Chihully exhibit at the Biltmore. I couldn't be more excited about that if I tried :)

The temperature on Thursday. It's going to be 73 degrees. I am definitely looking forward to that. I am tired of the cold and snow.

First weekend in May trip with Mom

I'm looking forward to getting out of the house tomorrow and going over to see my BFF.... she's in worse shape than I am and very ill. She might have to have surgery this coming week and might have to start rounds of chemo. She's a huge bright light in my life, so I want to be present with her this week.

Pineapple Upside Down Cake to come out of the oven. Hopefully it will turn out alright. I divided batter - half for one pan, half for the other. These might be some very thin cakes.

I am looking forward to being home after work today. I am in a great deal of pain when I stand or walk. I am calling the neurologist doc today and see if he can see me sooner. As it is now, my appointment is April 24th. We had a 2 hour training class yesterday on the other side of the building. I did not think I would make it walking all the way over there. Honestly, wanted to sit on the floor and bawl. I want to get on in, see the doctor and find out what I need to do to correct this pain - it is over the top!! So weird how it came on so quickly.

The annual environmental science conference next week. It is my favorite conference, I am so excited.
