I had half a pimento sandwich with chips. Peppermint tea to drink.

It was enough and just okay.

Was there any cheese with that pimento, or was it really just a pimento pepper sandwich?

Haha! Yes it was pimento cheese. :) I was so unimpressed that I didn't finish typing it out.

Two days ago, a flurry of colleagues on my work campus reached out to me. Then yesterday, a close friend on another floor in my tower reached out to me and is coming by tonight to take me out to dinner. I have no idea where we will go or what type of food venue we will end up going to, but she just got back from an overseas work conference and we haven't seen each other since last fall. So it will be nice to catch up with her and enjoy a leisurely supper in each other's company. :)

I have a plethora of my dad's homegrown tomatoes that I need to use up, so I am going to make a tomato pie with lots of melty mozzarella. Cucumber salad on the side.

And, there shall be wine.

My colleague and I decided to dine on Chinese cuisine tonight and had a wonderful time over dinner. I couldn't eat much, nor could she, but there's enough left over from tonight's dinner for at least several more meals! I enjoyed crab puffs, hot n sour soup and jumbo prawns..... supper was delicious. So nice to catch up our lives over dinner. : )
