I left the house at 7:00 a.m. this morning, came by 3 separate times for like 10 minutes each time to let my dog out to relieve himself. The last time, I fed him his dinner. I did not get home until almost 11:00. I am whooped out but kind of wired up at the same time. It was a fine day. :) |

Sweet home, Chicago.
Going home to Chicago this weekend for a few weeks.
Highlights - Andrew Bird concert at The Chicago Theatre next Saturday night, which couldn't be a more perfect venue for him. Also putting the family homestead on the market a year after my dad died. Didn't think I would ever get this done. Lowlights - oh yeah, having to go out there to deal with all this crap. |

My band is playing in DC this weekend. I'm gonna sing my little heart out! And I purchased a new shirt for the occasion. A little altering and it fits perfectly snug(and the girls look pretty good in it too)

starting my new (other) job at the assisted living facility....
it's far more socially engaging than my first job....during which I may speak to 3 people for all of two minutes....much like my lliving situation.... which is another thing Im looking forward to....getting my own place...as the song goes....if I have to be lonely I think Id rather be alone! Roommates try the soul....and besides....I cant wait for my daughter to come down in September :) :) That makes having our own place an imperative! |

After I complete some mundane paper work for the new job, it will be guilty pleasure time. I will finally get to see the movie "Sharknado" on the Sci Fi channel. :shark:
