Had a Weight Watchers chicken teriyaki meal and brussels sprouts, caramelized in the pan. Drinking a diet A&W rootbeer and thinking it would taste good with vanilla ice cream.

Just had Jamaican mild jerk chicken , steamed cabbage , cheesey mashed taters and a johnny roll , which is a fried biscuit :) It was awesome ! :cigar:

The Casbah
If you are ever in Pittsburgh, and up for some awesome dining/lunching/brunching, you must must must go to Casbah in Shadyside. Amazing quality of food, service and the prize wasn't bad at all! Here's what I had for my brunchy/lunchy
2 of the best bloody mary's I have EVER IN MY FREAKING LIFE had fruit and cheese starter with manchego (aged at least 8 years), a wonderful truffle tremor and langres. http://www.flickr.com/photos/3221779...n/photostream/ The main dish was two very large, pan-seared, delightful sea scallops, with a house made chorizo, asparagus, caramelized onions, scrambled eggs, white corn grits, croissant. http://www.flickr.com/photos/3221779...in/photostream Everything was done to absolute perfection. The BEST scrambled eggs and the grits were laden with creme fresh. My mouth was doing the happiest dance of its life. As always, my brunching company was wonderful and full of comedic stories and regalia. I was supposed to have a guest join me, it's a shame he couldn't make it because he really missed out! |

At Sakura Matsuri, the Cherry Blossom Festival at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Bento box (sushi), a green tea mochi, and a green iced tea, on the lawn under the cherry trees....delicious, healthy, with blossoms falling all around.......

After a big lesson learned over the weekend about carb overload..deffinatly not fun..I had a nice tossed salad with lo-fat ranch dressing w/6 carckers w/unsweet tea.

I am currently having a US Pizza Supreme salad:
Lettuce chopped onion chopped bell pepper black olives bacon bits black forest ham mozzarella cheese and their super-secret VERY GOOD house dressing. Oh, and bottled water. :) |

I steamed a bag of frozen veggies for me with a small peice of steak and 1 dinner roll,sonny boy had the rest of the steak with rice and gravy 3 dinner rolls.Going to eat lite tonight...I think.

My Brunch was an awesome Strata that my Love made that had Maple Bacon and Maple sausage, apples and sourdough bread....its like a breakfast bread pudding and I inhaled it...its going on our rotation list of things to def make again....lol
