We had leftover pork chops and veggies. Now honey is making homemade applesauce and lemon pound cake.

Hot dogs, baked beans and barbecue chips, with a peanut butter chocolate chunk cookie for dessert.

I had a nice salad with spinach, broccoli, red peppers, red onion and feta with lite Caesar dressing.

Best part is it was free from my work deli. And hopefully off sets the chocolate peanut butter pie I had in lieu of lunch.

I had dinner out with a friend this evening. It was simple but delicious. I ordered a meal with grilled chicken breast, sauteed spinach, sauteed summer squashes, (both the yellow and zucchini), a bottle of water and a cup of coffee. A salad came with the meal but I was too full to eat it, and will have it for lunch tomorrow.

I may or may not have ordered from the 55+ menu for the first time ever! ;)

I'm working tonight and we will be short staffed, so I'm just packing a pb&j sandwich, raw veggie snacks, trail mix, and peanuts.

My sweetheart made this amazing beef and veggie soup with a thick savory broth made from leftover ribeye steak.
Chocolate pudding with whipped cream for dessert.

Warm heavy seeded bread and smoked English cheddar cheese. Simple, delicious.

That is a very country French meal..my memere was good at making simple, wonderful things like that :)

Goddess only knows?????????? I threw some pasta with Alfredo sauce together for my honey for tonight, but don't know what I'm packing to take to work.....:jester::jester:

We will have spaghetti carbonara from scratch...with a fresh salad... and I might just make some Kahlua brownies...
