I went out to brunch and Pete had leftovers, so we had a light meal.
We had warmed corn tortillas, fried eggs, avocado with tajin, and salsa verde. Pete loves breakfast for dinner. |

- chicken in a light cheddar cheese and mushroom sauce in a puff pastry - green beans sauteed in EVOO with a little garlic And we already have Christmas cookies for dessert. |
White beans and rice with slices of tomatoes. Maybe some wings.

Just got home from having dinner with chosen family: My sil's hubby made Lemon Garlic Jumbo Shrimp Scampi, with linguini noodles. It was soOOOooooOOOOoo good. A client at work just got back from Spain, and presented me with a bottle of wine from Spain. We had that with dinner.
For dessert: Lemon-Raspberry Cheesecake. From the Cheesecake Factory. <<<<<<<<~~ Kätzchen committed BIG BIG sins tonight and is officially experiencing Christmas Eve Coma-ville, *lol* (or not). |
After days of being with the family and eating all kinds of delicious stuff and a 3-hour drive, I went for simple:

I had bakery pizza that I decorated with finely shredded triple cheddar cheese plus a huge salad of romaine, tomato, carrots and light OG dressing. Water to drink and root beer barrels for dessert.
Bakery pizza, or pizza strips, is a New England thing. If you don't know what I'm talking about, here you go. |
Meatloaf in the oven now. Added, jalapeno🌶🌶
Air fryer has zucchini,onion,red peppers and sliced baby carrots. Trying sesame oil on them tonight. Ice water with lemon as libation. George Michael as my music accompaniment. |
Two Apple Sage smoked Veggie sausages by Field Roast; a handful of chopped kale and two big chunks (buds) of cauliflower. All pan seared in coconut oil; then topped off with my favorite Caesar salad dressing, with a sprinkling of chia seeds. It hit the spot after a busy day at work.

I defrosted the extra pan of turkey and celery dressing I made at Thanksgiving. We also had cranberry sauce and carrots sauteed in butter.
Also, a Little Debbie Chocolate Christmas Tree cake. |
