tonight my babe cooked up chicken and broccoli with pasta and cheese. having a couple beers.
last night I had a beef brat in a bun with everything on it and some hot fresh fries with ketchup. unsweet ice tea. |
Sandwich, for dinner???
A sandwich on the deck: lightly toasted Balthazar whole grain with homemade aïoli, organic bacon, lettuce and thick slices of tomato and avocado, with a bunch of basil leaves, glass of Chardonnay, homemade minted mango sorbet with a jalapeño twist for dessert.

After relaxing in the pool after work, neither one of us felt like cooking. So we had... SANDWICHES :)

Tonight I plan on having a huge italian cold cut sandwich with fresh bread from the bakery packed with mortadella, and american landolakes (white) cheese, with fresh tomatoes and herbs from our garden, sprinkled with olive oil... :drool:

Already planning dinner!
Since the homemade gravlax will be ready, I'll be having gravlax with fresh dill crème fraîche, steamed baby Yukon Gold potatoes, and mesclun with vinaigrette. And a Blue Moon. Dessert will be white nectarines poached in Chardonnay with mint and jalapeño. They are cooling right now.

I am out of the good butter so it is the ordinary stuff for me Turkey sausage |
BBQ chicken brest,dirty rice,garlic bread.For desert I baked two small apples I took the core out of and sprinkled cinnamon,nutmeg with a touch of butter along with some corse choped pecans.MMMMMMM good.

I had spaghetti n' meatball frozen dinner with a steamer veggie pouch and a pumpkin chocolate chip woopie pie... and water :)
