Puregrrl! 1987 called and wants its music back (Happy birthday)!
Dear 'puregrrl' (if that is your real name),
I don't know if you'll actually see this, since you're probably busy posting crappy music in the 'What are you listening to now' thread, but I (and others) wanted to wish you a happy birthday! Because you totes do that, except not intentionally, and not always around teenagers. You're pretty square, puregrrl. You're kinda un-hip and a you're a poster child for stuffwhitepeoplelike.com (especially the one about the Toyota Prius, even though it's a Honda.) But you're also a good and decent human being. You have a kind and generous heart. If you're occasionally a tad literal-minded, you still have an empathetic soul moved by music and people and cupcakes. You have friends, of which I am grateful to be one. So happy birthday, puregrrl! The world's a better place with you in it! And now, a serenade from one of your favorite crappy bands. When I have wanted to hoist my black flag, you've patiently reeled me back in and reminded me that there are people to whom it's worth staying connected, and you are notably among them.
