Best Date Night Movie-Advice Please?
Ok, I recently met someone that I really like and she and I have a "stay at home" movie night planned. We prefer to watch a romantic movie but want one targeted towards lesbians. I have "Loving Annabelle" and "Imagine Me and You." She has two that I cannot remember the names of but will recognize them if I see them. Neither one of us has seen the movies owned by the other and neither is opposed to watching their own movie again.
So, can anyone make any recommendations, even if they include the titles I have already listed? Thanks so much!!! Oh, and my apologies if this is in the wrong area. I was not sure where to ask this :) |

Dan In Real Life (2007)Stars: Steve Carell, Juliette Binoche, Dane Cook, Dianne Wiest, John Mahoney, & Emily Blunt
A widower finds out the woman he fell in love with is his brother's girlfriend. Sidebar: Sorry this is not a lesbian movie but it's a dam good date night movie regardless! |

I'd also suggest The Goodbye Girl....it's a very good movie, starring Richard Dreyfuss and Marsha Mason...... I like both movies and think of them as in a genre of romantic situations involving people who are single and want to date or be in a committed relationship with each other. Although both movies do not involve Lesbian or Queer romantic scenarios, I think both romantic movie situations are believable situations anyone of Gay, Lesbian or Queer orientation can relate too. |
I would also suggest The Mirror Has Two Faces 1996....stars: Barbra Streisand, Jeff Bridges, Lauren Bacall, George Segal, Mimi Rogers, Pierce Brosnan, Elle Macpherson, and Brenda Vaccaro.
A shy, middle-aged professor enters into a romantic but non-physical relationship with an unlucky-in-love colleague. |
