It's a really big shame what the "fashion" industry and all it's bullies do to the women in society.
I'd like to say I'm shocked he said it - but honestly I was waiting for the backlash of her weight to come around - just like it did for Kelly Clarkson and hell any other celebrity female who had the audacity to not be a size 0. |
He had no business mentioning it at all unless someone had asked him whether he planned to have her model for him (not that I think she is too fat to model, but he does have a right to an opinion about that). Otherwise, too fat for what?

Well now days the ideal body for a woman is a 13 year old boy because gay men run the fashion industry. Honestly I don't think any gets to decide a standard of beauty for anyone else. Especially some old dried up crusty raisin ball having asshole like Karl Lagerfeld. Fuck him. It's a shame in all of his years on earth he still hasn't learned how to be a decent human being.

:blink: Karl has his place in the world and Adele has hers. Hers is on my MP3 player, which gets listened to nearly every day. I haven't found Karl a place in my personal world and I'm not trying too hard to do so. For me, it sucks to have someone say that, but it happens every day. I don't buy his clothes. I can't fit into them. I'm too fat for them. So, in Karl's mind, I'm like Adele, which I can totally live with. Thanks for the compliment, Karl! |

He's entitled to his opinion about fashion, and the models who wear them. For him to be judging ALL women by his fashion model standards is, I think, more than a bit over the top. Frankly, I have zero interest in the fashion industry, in designers, or in spending ridiculous sums of money on clothing. That's my opinion. It's also my opinion that the fashion industry as a whole has perpetrated a pretty horrific thing on the women of the world, particularly on young girls, who think that they have to starve themselves and look anorexic in order to be beautiful. Personally I prefer the days of the luscious pin-ups.....most of whom were size 14 or 16...and who actually had breasts, hips, and a real ass. Adele is an immensely talented woman....and I don't actually give a hoot what she looks like. What she sounds like is absolutely good enough for me. |
I personally think Adele is quite hot. I love her luscious curves and beautiful body. She could sing me to sleep anytime. Stupid fucker obviously does not speak for all of us... :byebye:
