It sure is nice to have the windows open and hear the sounds of neighbors talking and crickets.

It sure is nice I learned how to sew again. I can hem The General's dress.

The fall colors and smells are so wonderful...especially after all the rain :)

i've coached girls youth softball for years and years. this is one of the sayings i've said so many times, ... if you don't have anything good to say, then don't say anything at all. it still didn't keep them from hurting each others feelings at times, ... but i kept saying it anyway.


8 and under girls softball players have given me some of the best times as a coach. easy egos to coach. they listen with their hearts.

I want to express my gratitude for my friends on this site, & for my friends here in VA who give hugs & love, & support. I also want to say that the woman I married 10 years ago is without a doubt the best thing that ever came in to my life. She is a truly wonderful person & I miss her.

It sure is nice to spend lunch break gushing about the wonderful time with my sweetie and The General. When family time is peaceful it is a beautiful thing.

I am content, for now.

Sometimes silence is one of the most beautiful forms of communication.
