I awoke today and you werent here
Reaching over to feel for you and you werent there
Looking at the place you usd to fill and you arent there
I awoke today and remembered you were gone

You used to capture that which I held to dear

Only to realize you were going away to move on

I now hold the pillow that once touched your face
I move my body over to lay in what was your place
The tears I cry are so deep and fresh I no longer feel safe
From mostly myself and the tomorrow that I feel so alone

Awaken my love from the sleep you hold so deep
Come to me and lets live the life which was met to be
