It was actually last evening. There is a shrub in my neighbor' s yard with a nest of bluejay babies......we were in the pool floating on the floats. All of a sudden we look up & on top of the pool cage is two bluejays flitting & squawking back & forth to the neighbor's roof & our pool cage. I look up to neighbor's roof & there sits a hawk...looking to get those babies in the nest. This went on about 15 minutes. Then the two bluejays flew right at the hawk, who took flight away with those 2 jays chasing & squawking at it. Was comical as the two jays combined weren't as big as that hawk...but they sent him packing.....
