$2.49/gallon half a mile from me and $2.69/gallon another mile and change down the road. Another 2 miles in the other direction and it's $2.65/gallon.
Distance doesn't mean anything, Tru. Gas stations will charge as much as they can and as much as people will pay. Two miles down the road has a very different type of neighborhood than block A or block B. If the station is in a really good location, they can really push the prices up there too.
I have two stations that are exactly across the street from one another. One charges more than the other all of the time. Why? Because even though the other one is cheaper and full service for no additional charge, it's a pain in the but to get in out and of that lot.
