I've been doing Physical Therapy for the past month or so, and I must say, I'm feeling a bit stronger in the arms, legs, and my back. I still have low level pain at times, but NOTHING like the pain I was coping with daily for the last 8 1/2 yrs before my back surgery this past June. OMG what a huge relief and I feel better about myself too. I know I still can't work but it's a relief knowing I'm not in pain like I was everyday of my life for that many years and it's a relief to feel stronger. I still can't bend, stoop, lift, do ladders, or twisting motions, but I can live with that. I just have to keep reminding myself that just because I'm feeling better physically doesn't mean I'm FIXED to go back to work, I still have to remind myself NOT to do the things I could do before I got injured so many years ago. I'm just glad I am able to not live in that kinda pain any longer.
