Hi Colette, Chagall has been one of my most favorite artists for years and I just recently realized that he did a lot of beautiful stained glass work. I'm not sure where the synagogue is that has it. Is it in Israel? He was very in touch with his Jewish heritage and sadly he experienced a lot of discrimination.
I'm mostly familiar with his paintings. Someone told me that the painting below looks like jewels in person. It's my favorite. I think it's time to go to Paris and see it up close! I just pretend the guy behind her is a butch. Just as I do with all art, poetry, music, etc.
