My entire day....

I confess I started out sad and miserable; holidays are a sucky time to be 800 miles away from loved ones....but.. I'm where I want to be... so...I spent the day with my great love: Asheville

I went downtown and found it nearly deserted...meandered aimlessly for a while, then headed to the basilica...the bells ringing actually led me there...explored there for a while, kit a candle for my loved ones...

Then off for more sojourning in lovely weather...found a European style bakery open and got a treat then walked to Pack Square...found an actual paper version of the Urban Trail I've been wanting to take...did some of that...window shopped like crazy...without crowds! Ended up at Pritchard Park....

I saw a lot and learned something too....

After helping a lovely lady, I went home and grabbed my dogs and went for a nice hike that was suggested to me by a client yesterday...

Best thing yet is that I discovered ways to give thanks and find bliss...even so far from all those I love...
