Between my son and I we had a roast for dinner. He got the meat out of the bottom of the freezer to defrost, I fixed the veggies I wanted. Before he went to work he, yes he put it all in the slow cooker on low then I kept an eye on it during the day then on the way home he picked up a loaf of hot bread from the bakery. Beats the heck out of a take out.
