I'm trying to smile through the tears that are making their way to my eyes. My heart is heavy, today is my Dad's birthday. My memories in my mind are winning, bringing out the smile of remembering him today.
I was the cake baker while I lived at home, and occasionally later after I moved out. He ate everything I ever made. I remember I even gifted him a few years, my dessert of the month club. See....the smile is there
