It's hamburger patties with melted cheese and tomatoes on good rolls. The rolls are spread with a little butter or oil toasted a bit under the broiler, then you put the burger/cheese/tomato on, cut it in half and dunk your sandwich halves in Au jus. It’s like a poor man's French Dip
