Me too, one episode I watched people brought in an old helmet that the kids/grandkids somebody found in their barn and had been playing with forever. Turned out it was iron armor from the Spanish Armada, conquistadors or some such thing and worth a boat ton of money. I don’t remember now where they lived just that it wasn’t someplace like Florida, Colorado or New Mexico where it might not be as unusual for a thing like that to turn up, no it was someplace off the wall that usually doesn’t leap to mind when you think Little Spain, like Kansas or something. Anyhow I know I don’t have anything that valuable but I do have a couple few things I picked up dirt cheap that might be worth a little more than what I paid that I would stand in line, wait to have valued if the road show should ever happen to come this way. If so I’ll be one of those people they feature at the end of the show going – this is my item and worth less than $100.00 dollars but considering I paid substantially less well hey, I’m pleased. Or maybe saying, yes now in retrospect I can see I definitely paid way, way okay way, way, way too much. Anyhow didn’t you just love that commercial the one where an elderly couple watch the show see a blanket worth a bunch of money and the blanket behind them, draped over the couch that they’re sitting on is the same one featured on the program?
