True...given that sarcasm depends on vocal cues and tone and people often "hear" sarcasm because it would have been their own inclination in a given circumstance or they simply can't recognise the use of irony. There's also the possibility that someone with zero sense of humour is reading the type.
From Wiki: "John Haiman writes: "There is an extremely close connection between sarcasm and irony, and literary theorists in particular often treat sarcasm as simply the crudest and least interesting form of irony." I agree.
T/F Humour ( for better or worse ) is a good indicator of intellect.
