I totally agree, Pup. I know he knows all the horrors that could occur. I also know that he knows I am tough enough to remove the car from his grasp should he screw up in this area.
I love him very much but not enough to tolerate that. He was sober when he came home. I know he parked the car and had 2 drinks early in the night. He stopped drinking 3 hours before driving.
I'm 49. I can translate. He had four drinks and stopped about 2 hours before driving.
Now, I would have liked that to have been 5 hours but I also know that he was sober when he came in. He and I had already had the "don't bother chewing gum" talk as well.
Can't get that past me at least.
