I am grateful for movies that were created before the year 2000 rolled around. That I had enough foresight to replace my collection of VHS with DVD's as they became available. Yet, to be honest I wish I had held on to some of those tapes but not as much as I wish that I had held onto my vinals.

I am grateful to have lived long enough to see the changes in home entertainment that have occurred. Just as I am grateful to have the knowledge and memories from the older methods used. That because of said experience I can find a good movie to watch or good book to read when everyone else is complaining that nothing is on. Mostly I am grateful for the above on nights like tonight when it is late, I am alone, I need to get out of my head, and a small break from reality just might lead to a good nights sleep.

Now if only I could do something about the length if my posts...lol
