Are you saying that reputation points are a second measure of # of post? Because I've seen folks with relatively small or moderate #'s of posts who have high reputation points.
Maybe we could persuade a moderator or admin to explain how rep points are set up here...

Nope, not at all. I personally (since I can only speak for myself here) use the rep feature to chat with folks when what I have to say isn't really long enough for a pm. I'm the Queen of one liners and zingers! So, I'm still talking, whether someone can see me do it or not.

I wonder how much fun that would be for anyone but me.

That's hot.
The giveth and taketh, that is, not the war thing.

If there are issues with the reputation point system itself, then that could be discussed, but I don't see how playing around with rep points in a thread where they are given out equally to every poster could be a problem. This thread has a total equality policy as far as my reps go.

Equal opportunity repping is what I do as well (though I didn't have the forethought to create a thread to do it).
Granted, I haven't read through the whole thread, since it's going faster than the time I have available to check all of my threads, but I don't think anyone has an issue, per se, with the rep points. I like them. They make me feel warm and fuzzy and are much cheaper than a therapist.
