Gooooood morning and welcome to the Thursday edition of Rise n Shine.

Breakfast this morning is a light and easy version - plenty of foods that are close to the earth. My offerings this morning are: strawberries, pineapple slices, green seedless grapes.
For protein, i made some hardboiled eggs, since it is very important to have protein at every meal, and if you have to dash out of the house on the way to work this morning, please grab an egg on the way out. Eat it in the car at a redlight if you have to, but get the good stuff in ya. Your body will thank you with sustained energy throughout the morning.
Instead of processed fruit in the form of juice, i have sliced a wonderful orange - succulent and bursting with sweet goodness.

i thought i'd skip the grains this morning and give our body time off until the next meal.

And if you have to dash off - don't leave without grabbing a nice Macintosh apple off the table. They are my most favourite apple of them all.

Okay, so it's Thursday and one sleep left to the weekend.
We have a long weekend up here in Canada and i am thinking we are coinciding with the Americans on this one - your Memorial Weekend.

Ours is called May 2-4 weekend, but it is also in honour of Queen Victoria's birthday, by our ties to the Monarchy and the Queen of England.
Lots of fireworks this weekend, i hope the weather is good, i sooooo want to take my camera to the waterfront for some shots

girl sneaks off to the fridge to grab her piece of chocolate cream pie (ya i know, me, the health nut, but but, but.........)

i had an email request from a dear Butch that was fond of the 80's just as myself.
So in his honour, i went back to 1980 for one of the top songs in that year. For a little twist - i found a gay montage to go with the music.
