My long time best friend (and former boss for over 23 years!) came by today with a fresh of supply chocolates, skittles and raisenettes (?) and gobs of magazines, new slippers and other life line stuff, as well as presenting a compelling case to accept high blood pressure meds to aide in my recovery. I'm so grateful for her!

The ability to adjust my point of view to accommodate new plans to help me get home.

The ability to make new friends with people I don't even know, but are facing dire situations in their own lives.

My youngest brother who makes me laugh at the craziest stuff, when it's hard to find laughter on really awkward situations.

To be able to make do or go without or find some sliver of happiness in really tough situations.
