It made me happy and made me smile when someone important to me promised to help me pick out a special tattoo (one to cover up the one on my shoulder that holds such bad memories and one for the small of my back)... they said it's time to make new memories 
I like these so far....
But it's very comforting to me to have someone important help me decide on special ones that hold special meaning... and to have them there teasing me when I'm a wimp with the needles!
