Love this...Beethoven wrote some of the world's most beautiful music ever written - this piece is one of his most tender and beloved.

Deaf for most of his adult life, he created some of the world's most enduring music. His triumphant and dramatic 'Ode To Joy' was written when he was completely deaf. When first played in public, it is said that Beethoven had to be turned 'round to see the thunderous applause because he could not hear it! Amazing...
