My oldest son. He he was one of 800 to apply for a job. Of the 800, 350 were given a chance to test. I'm not sure how many of those who tested were granted an interview. I only know, though he seems to think the interview went well, competition is fierce. They are only hiring 20, and some of the applicants already have experience. All I can do is be as encouraging as I can without instilling unwarranted hope. As a parent it's a thin line, tight rope to walk. Well, at least they're being merciful. They said those who are selected will hear back within a week, those who aren't will receive notice by the end of the month. I don't especially want my son to work out there, it's hard work, full of risk. Yet at the same time I do hope he succeeds, as it seems to mean so much to him.
