An acquaintance, who earned her master's degree many years ago, at Ball State University, told me that all they had to do was copy another study....when constructing their own study.
I don't think think sort of imitation bodes well anymore but it's interesting how certain cases of imitation brought about Plagiarism law.
I understand the idiom, but I often wonder why anyone would accept imitation when, I'm guessing, the quirkiness of reality might be far better???
