I Confess that while waiting for a train yesterday, I saw a person who tried to use a public telephone, which apparently no longer in service. Or maybe the cost to use it was more than the change they had? They got their change back, but walked away disillusioned.

Which....I confess....it made me wonder if phone service at a public phone found in the woods, is still in service....yanno, where cell towers are not permitted to exist, making it difficult to call for help or for any other reason...
