[QUOTE=easygoingfemme;1168033]I probably should have all kinds of emotional scars from King's books but I don't. I started reading them way before I should have. I read Cujo when I was 7 or 8 years old. I nipped it out of my father's book bag while we were on vacation. My mom thought I was just pretending to read it. His books are like comfort food for me.[/QUOT]

I also read his books too young lol The Talisman was my first book at age 11 (I think) and I read IT at age 12 (in under a week!) I do still avoid sewer grates but only because I'm convinced at some point they will fall in and I don't want to chance being on it when it does. (Ok, that's the story I tell myself. ) but....i do not like clowns..but I'm not exactly certain when that began.
