If Dee knocked on my door, I'd squeal, let her in, apolgise for the untidiness of the flat, offer her a cuppa, and ask her what the heck she's doing this side of The Pond. Then have a good long natter and suggest maybe a shopping trip in town including a meal at a nice restaurant?
