Linda Shear was one of the most prominent Lesbian Feminist musicians in the seventies. She performed in the first Out-Lesbian concert in the U.S.

This is a very special song to me because during a private jam session with Linda (being a musician then), I composed and played a similar melody for her on her piano in Chicago. Somehow, she wove it into this beautiful coming out song.
