I finished the Octopus Mermaid painting I was making for my BFF sister-in-law and her hubby, this afternoon. I'm still an novice of sorts, but I think it turned out pretty good! The octopus is an playful presentation of her hubby, from back in his younger days when he wore really big glasses and his hair was an run-away wavy mass of hair and the mermaid is an playful presentation of my BFF and her love for all things beach.
