How I really like Judi Dench, and I will always remember her performance as Lady Macbeth in the Trevor Nunn's direction of that film (the most brilliant - I think - adaptation of that play, which had me absolutely glued to the screen). And now there is this really beautiful documentary of her sharing her love of trees. Personally, there has never been a tree that I didn't love. You know, I can't say that about people.
How, when younger, there was nothing in the world that could stop me from climbing trees, smelling the healing scent of pine... I saw this documentary (JUDI DENCH: My Passion for Trees, BBC 2017) on TV on the Knowledge network. Judi Dench is the most wonderful lady, sharing her passion for trees, her woodland garden, as well as her passion for Shakespeare, and is absolutely delightful in this doc.
