You can ask them not to adjust your neck. They do much more than just that and your chance of being paralyzed is about the same as you going into space, for the record. You're far more likely to be prescribed medicine that will cause you physical harm by a general practitioner than have issues with a good chiropractor.

They aren't for everyone and it pays to do your research but I've had chiropractic care for about half my life now and have never had any issues with any of the chiropractors I've visited.

Unless you opt to give them or maybe an acupuncturist a chance, you'll probably continue to feel this way. I'm truly sorry as I know how bad neck issues can be.

I was in a car accident that jacked up my neck muscles/tendons/ligaments and was constantly in pain for weeks until I got into the chiropractor so know that they do do really wonderful things. I absolutely love my chiro.

I hope that you find something that helps.
