Today, Sunday, I did 35 minutes on the stairmaster. My pattern was:
Levels 8 down to 1, 2 min per level x 1 set, then 1 min per level x 1 set, then 30 seconds per level x 1 set, then 15 seconds per level x 1 set, then cool down on level 1.
This pattern is so perfect that it gave me great pleasure

I see on this thread that it looks like I haven't exercised since last Monday. Oh, that's not ideal. I do recall becoming progressively tired during the week due to going to bed too late. Somehow I need to interrupt this pattern, but I have not figured out how to yet. I know one thing that gets in the way is eating dinner too late. Like today. I just finished dinner at 8 p.m. Too late!
I ran into Judith in the gym cafe. She had ordered Chinese food. We chatted. Then I ran into her again in the locker room. She was topless reading the New York Times. We chatted again. I love how predictable life is sometimes.
I saw Taylor on an elliptical. She loves the elliptical. I didn't say anything to her because I was already at the gym late.
As I left Judith said, "Leaving so soon?" That's a line Judith says a lot at the gym, because she closes the gym like it's a bar.
I hope I have better luck this week. Actually I just looked at my calendar last week, and I had to take my cat to the vet on Tuesday, and I had a meeting on Thursday night, so I also had some stuff going on. I still hope I have better luck this week.
