I'm taking the plunge and getting a Fitbit too! My work will subsidize the cost, but only until the end of this year. I'm really interested in seeing what the sleep function can tell me.
I will be starting off pretty low with steps - I have no idea how low, because I don't know how many steps I take in a day. But I have to start from where I am, right?
